Dr. Hyland is Associate Member, Department of Health Behavior, Division of Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences, Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), Buffalo, NY.

Research Interests
Dr. Hyland’s research interests focus on the evaluation of tobacco policies aimed at reducing morbidity and mortality associated with the use of tobacco products. He is also involved with evaluations of national and regional clean air regulations. Dr. Hyland leads the Roswell Park secondhand smoke research program. He is a senior editor for the journal Tobacco Control. He also provides statistical consultation for hospital and academic settings, as well as industry and governmental clients.
